Cypress Hill (founded 1988) is a Latino American hip-hop group based in South Gate, California. Founded in 1988, the three original members of Cypress Hill are Cuban-born rapper Sen Dog, rapper of Mexican and Cuban ancestry B-Real, and Italian American DJ Muggs.

Cypress Moreno is a DJ, Producer, A&R and Radio Personality from Los Angeles, CA.

Afterwards, DJ Muggs took a hiatus from the group to focus on other projects, such as Soul Assassins and his DJ Muggs vs. collaboration albums.

Of Italian descent, Muggerud was born in Queens borough of New York City, and was adopted into a Norwegian family.
